Senator Joseph Lieberman Visits Lebanon

Senator Joseph Lieberman, Member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, completed his visit to Lebanon today as part of a tour of the Middle East region. Senator Lieberman last visited Lebanon in February 2011.

The Senator had meetings with President Michel Sleiman, Prime Minister Najib Mikati, and Progressive Socialist Party Leader MP Walid Jumblatt. In his meetings, the Senator discussed bilateral relations and the situation in Syria.
